Can you believe it, those of you who know how long we've been working on this? The sweetest little house on Cummings Drive is no longer owned by our sweetest little family. It was a sad, yet equally glorious day when we closed on our house February 2, 2010. I counted it up and our closing date changed 7 different times before it finally happened. Whew! We were grateful to have an ending to the saga, but sad to see our family's first home move on to a new chapter of it's life, with someone else.
Now we wait to see what our next step is. We should find out in March if we will be moving to a new station and location this fall, and in the meantime we are looking for a nice rental in the area. If we don't find something like what we are looking for then we will probably move on base within the next couple of months. We are so thankful that Grandma Bear is willing to let us stay as long as we need to. She is such a gracious host and housemate! Very flexible in our times of Braun Rigidity. Thanks Grandma Bear!
We do so miss our beautiful little kitchen and our AMAZING gas stove! But an equally sweet kitchen will win our hearts again one day, right? Well, there's always hope.

SAD and happy for you at the same time!! I'm glad we were able to come over Christmas- for multiple reasons! Congratulations on the closing. What a relief!
